LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Dunder Mifflin branch manager Michael Scott is branching
out into TV producing.
Steve Carell, the star of NBC's "The Office," has signed a three-year television production deal with
Universal Media Studios, the studio behind his NBC comedy series.
Carell, who also writes for "The Office" and is a producer on the show, is said to be serious about
expanding into TV producing. The deal with Universal is through a newly launched television
division of his Carousel Prods. banner.
