"What I do for a living is great, but I don't want it to be too much a part of my kids' lives, and I
don't want it to really impinge on them in any way.

"It's funny, but the day my daughter was born changed everything," he says.

"Prior to that, I was very career-driven. I was always in work but big success eluded me.

"But when Elisabeth Anne was born six years ago, something inside me just snapped and my
perspective on what was important changed overnight because I just wanted to get home and
be with my newborn baby.

"Of course, the greatest irony was that after that moment, I got everything I auditioned for.

"Casting directors can smell desperation a mile off and that just wasn't there any more."
